The Hotel

This small casino, on the heart of the strip, opened its doors in 1979 with 150 rooms and suites. It has undergone 3 expansions since then, addind 50 rooms, more casino space and more service facilities. The interior is marked by stained glass, chandeliers and a plush decor. The showpiece of the casino is the 30' by 5' stained glass mural 'Garden of Earthy Delights' on the casino's west wall. It took 10 artists 10,000 hours to complete and was installed in 1984.

The Casino

The small but intimate casino offers such gaming pleasures as blackjack, poker, Pai Gow Poker and 550 slot machines, as well as a Race and Sports book.

Restaurants

Barbary Coast offers two fine-dining restaurants: Drai's On The Strip, with four seperate dining rooms and a 'living room' lounge offering live entertainment on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, and Michael's, with house specialties such as Dover Sole, Rack of Lamb or Chateaubriand for two. Michael's offers two seatings: at 6.30pm and 9.30pm. Reservations are suggested (702-737-7111).
The Barbary Coast offers 24/7 dining at the Victorian Room, where fast and friendly service and bargain priced 'Midnight Teasers' are keywords.

Entertainment

Entertainment at the Barbary Coast is limited. As far as we know, there's only the entertainment at Drai's on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

Shopping

Apart from some Barbary Coast merchandise, there's not much for the shopper here, though the vicinity of Bally's, Paris Las Vegas, Caesars Palace and Bellagio well make up for that nowadays.
